One of the most significant events of the Eurasian region will be held in Almaty

From September 30 to 3 October 2014, the 22nd Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference (KIOGE 2014) will be held in Almaty. Over the years, the event has gone beyond a purely sectoral one, becoming a full-fledged business platform for representatives from all areas of the oil and gas industry, as well as for financial and academic institutions, consulting companies and the media.

For more than 20 years KIOGE has been officially supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC NC KazMunaiGas, Almaty City Administration (Akimat), Kazakhstan Union of Service Companies KazService, and diplomatic missions of the participating countries.

The partners of the upcoming events include: Ballast Pipe-lines SWAP, Bartec Benke, Caspian Offshore Construction, CGG, Fluor, FMC Technologies, Gidromashservice, OZNA, Actuators Auma, Raim Group, Tengizshevroil and Air Astana.

KIOGE 2014 will be notable not only for the appearance of new partners, but also for an informative program of the conference, interesting local and foreign speakers, including representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry for Innovation and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the first heads of national companies, big oil and service companies, and of international agencies.

Among the speakers at the plenary session, include the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KazMunaiGas, the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission and the Ambassadors of foreign countries in Kazakhstan.

On the first day of the conference, discussion will be on the expansion of the hydrocarbon resource base, survey the recent geological studies; of drilling and production issues and devoted to the diversification of oil and gas export flows between the East and the West.

The second day of the conference will start with a session that will reveal the aspects of legal regulation in the sphere of subsoil use and financing of projects. As part of the subsequent sessions the audience will be offered to discuss the issues of infrastructure creation and servicing of wells, environmental protection and harmful emission limitation. The conference will end with the meeting on petroleum refining and petrochemical industry, which will focus on the modernisation of Kazakh petroleum refineries, prospects for creation of a petrochemical cluster and on many other aspects.

Organizers of the KIOGE Exhibition offer to the participants and visitors the new technological solutions for the most efficient use of all the possibilities of the Exhibition. So, on-line registration allows now not only to get an e-ticket, but also to schedule the meetings at the stands of exhibitors of interest; a mobile app KIOGE for iOS and Android enables users to share photos, comments, and suggestions and to keep abreast of event news; interactive information kiosks at exhibitions are an easy way of an access to information and an additional method of promoting one's product at the exhibition.

The area for seminars is equipped with advanced facilities for presentations and improved with an accounting system of workshop attendees. The seminar program is now available on the website of the event.

The KIOGE Exhibition will be held in five pavilions of the Kazakhstan Centre of Business Cooperation Atakent and consist of ten sections from production to software technologies. The conference including eight sessions which will be held at the Hotel InterContinental Almaty – The Ankara in Kazakhstan on 1-2 october.
