SEMINAR FROM QAZAQGAZ R&TC LLP
We invite you to attend the seminar from QazaqGaz R&TC LLP on September 26 from 15:30 to 16:30 on the topic:
- Current Status and Future Prospects of Underground Gas Storage
- Unified digital platform of geological, geophysical and field data
What will the seminar be about:
1. Unified Digital Platform for Geological, Geophysical, and Production Data
Modern development of digital technologies allows coordinating and implementing projects at a qualitatively new level: automate routine processes, optimize task completion times and systematize processed information. The foundation for all processes, including in the oil and gas industry, is the initial data.
The digital interactive platform allows saving up to 50% of time when performing analytical tasks, eliminates the factor of data duplication, helps to bring information into a single format, reduces the risks of using substandard data. Further expansion of the functionality of the digital interactive platform will be aimed at related areas (drilling, arrangement, production, economics), development of computing operations, data interpretation.
The final result of this project will be the implementation of a detailed Geological Exploration Program based on artificial intelligence.
2. Current Status and Future Prospects of Underground Gas Storage
In the context of the global energy transition, ensuring an efficient transportation and storage system, as well as flexibility of gas supplies, is relevant. The increasing pace of gasification of the country increases the need to find and create additional underground gas storage facilities (UGS) near the existing infrastructure. The existing UGS are associated with depleted gas fields in the southern regions, the largest Bozoy UGS is a structural trap in sand-silt reservoirs of the Kuma horizon and has been in operation for half a century.
The report will present current approaches to the study and operation of UGS, and also consider current challenges in justifying promising facilities for the creation of UGS based on a comprehensive analysis of geological, geophysical, and economic factors.
We are waiting for you on September 26 from 15:30 to 16:30!
