The 17th International Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference incorporating Refining & Petrochemicals will begin on 1st June and will unite thousands of professionals in the global oil and gas sector.
Caspian Oil & Gas is a well established business forum at which companies can present new products and projects. The exhibition and conference are supported by the Ministry of Industry and Energy, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and for the first time, by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
This year, the Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition will be held in the newly-built Baku Expo Center and will bring together 280 companies from 26 countries. The new venue provides excellent facilities and scope for expansion with Caspian Oil & Gas 2010 already growing by 15% compared to the previous event in 2009.
The exhibition will feature some of the biggest names in the industry as well as many more who will be entering the market for the first time. Exhibitors include: Itochu, OMV Gas International GmbH, State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Statoil, Total, and TPAO. Among the other exhibitors are national group stands from the UK, China and Russia. This year, UAE is taking part with a national group stand for the first time and their delegation will be led by the country’s Minister of Energy, H.E. Mohamed bin Dhaen Al Hamli.
The Caspian Oil & Gas conference will be held in the Hyatt Regency Hotel on 2nd and 3rd June 2010. The conference has been supported since its inception by the Ministry of Industry and Energy and SOCAR and in 2010, will also be supported by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan. Over 500 delegates attend the conference and these include some of the most influential players in the region’s oil and gas sector. Speakers include Minsters from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, UAE, and the USA.
