Preparatory work is currently underway for KIOGE 2010, as less than two months remain until the start of the exhibition. The event will be held in Almaty on 6-9 October. According to the organisers, the exhibition will feature over 500 companies from 30 countries. Over a thousand delegates are expected to take part in the conference.
Every year, the conference in Almaty is attended by the heads of major Kazakhstani and international companies that are world leaders in the oil and gas market and hold leading positions in the Caspian region and Central Asia. The following have confirmed their participation in the KIOGE 2010 conference: Lyazzat Kiinov, Vice-Minister of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Kayrgeldy Kabyldin, President of JSC National Company KazMunayGas; Uzakbai Karabalin, General Director of the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas; Kanatbek Safinov, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan (title of paper: “The State and subsoil users: a dialogue about Kazakhstan’s content”); and many others.
