OTO Corporation was founded in 1997 in Canada. In 1998, a representative office of the Corporation was opened in Samara. The objective of the activity is the development and manufacture of innovative process equipment. The main trends of our activity are: Service operations in the sphere of reservoir stimulation and enhanced oil recovery, Field development status analysis, complete with subsequent suggestions on reservoir stimulation and enhanced oil recovery methods (FIT and ORE methods) implementation. In 2000, a Kazakhstan venture, OTO-Prom, was opened in Almaty. The company has been fully utilising the scope of expertise accumulated in Russia, and has adapted its operational method to Kazakhstan environment. The company’s customers are KazMunaiGas Exploration & Production JSC, Turgai Petroleum OJSC, CNPC-AktobeMunaiGas, and other oil companies. Over the period of operation, the total of more than 900 well/operations were performed yielding the aggregate technological effect of more than 1,000,000 tons of additionally recovered oil. Over the period of its operation in Kazakhstan, the company has mastered the complete range of services including field development status analyses, geophysical and geodynamic well surveys, the broad range of FIT and reservoir treatment techniques, and WO techniques.
