MaxWell Downhole Technology designs and manufactures Measurement While Drilling (MWD) instrumentation. Survey data: Inclination, Azimuth and Toolface are transmitted to surface using conventional positive pulse or electromagnetc telemetry. Components of tools may be re-used for conversion into another type. For example, conversion Mud Pulse to EM telemetry requires only reattaching the alternative transmitter section. Customers can start with the simplest type of the tool for vertical drilling and then upgrade to sophisticated Logging Whilst Drilling (LWD) tool combinations by adding extra sensor sections. Simplicity, Robustness and Low-cost Maintenance make our tools suitable for small operations and in remote locations.
